EVENTS
One of the key initiatives undertaken by The Hikers is our fundraising activities for scholarships. We believe in the power of education and strive to provide financial assistance to deserving individuals who may not have the means to pursue higher education. Through our fundraising efforts, The Hikers organization has been able to support numerous students in their academic pursuits, enabling them to achieve their dreams and make a positive impact on society.

Fall Rummage Sale
Members can donate items for the sale on Thursday, October 15th between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Donations from the community can be dropped of on Friday, October 16th between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at Willing Workers Hall, 460 Gov. Wentworth Hwy.
Come buy items on Saturday, October 17th between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. We are happy to accept clean fall and winter clothing for women, men, and children, bedding, linens, costume jewelry, footwear, kitchen items, books, games, small appliances, and household items. We cannot accept computer electronics, large furniture, or large workout equipment.
Hikers Raffle
Please consider making a basket for the Hikers Raffle which will be held at the Town House for the Tuftonboro Fall Festival.
Some ideas include pet baskets, Christmas basket, Thanksgiving basket, breakfast basket. Please use your imagination. We know we have a very imaginative group of women!
If you are able to get these baskets to one of the Hiker meetings in October that would be wonderful. We will be accepting baskets until November 1st. All baskets will on display at the Hiker Meeting at the Town House November 12,2026.
